Tetherdeep is a 2D underwater exploration game where you descend into the abyss from the safety of your pod, deploying a tethered drone to salvage lost treasures from the deep.

The deeper you go, the darker and more dangerous the ocean becomes. With limited reach, fragile equipment, and hazards lurking in the depths, every dive is a risk. Bring back what you can — or lose it all to the deep.

Sorry only had 2 days to work on it, I work construction did my best lol, if it's kinda good I can work on it more.

 Controls

• Arrow Keys / WASD – Move pod or drone

• E – Deploy / Recall the drone

• F – Interact / Open upgrade terminal

• ESC – Close menus

(Controls may vary depending on build)

Gameplay

• Control a diving pod that descends into the ocean depths

• Deploy a tethered sphere drone to explore tight spaces and collect treasure

• Use the tether to manage distance, positioning, and safe returns

• Avoid underwater hazards such as sea mines and environmental dangers

• Collect coins/scrap to upgrade your equipment

• Unlock upgrades like:

  • Longer tether range

  • Faster movement

  • Stronger battery capacity

  • Magnet upgrades to pull in loot

• Return safely to your pod to bank your treasure

• Go too deep or take too much risk, and you may lose everything carried by the drone

Risk vs Reward

The deeper you descend:

• Hazards become more frequent

• Retreat becomes harder

You must decide when to push forward — and when to pull back.
